Ethics to be followed in the Conference

• All the participants at the HackTech must adhere to the HackTech code of conduct.
• The HackTech code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior, and also the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
• We encourage all the sponsors, attendees, speakers, media, attendees, media, exhibitors and other participants to help us create a safe and positive conference experience for everyone.

Expectable Behaviour

• You have to be considerate, respectful, and collaborative every time.
• Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
• Refrain from defaming, demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior and speech.
• Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Also alert conference organizers/volunteers if you notice any dangerous situation or someone in distress.

Unacceptable Behaviour

• Unacceptable behavior includes (but not limited to) intimidating, abusing, harassing, discriminatory, demeaning or derogatory conduct by any attendees of the event and related event activities.
• Carrying any item which can be used as a weapon or which may cause danger to others if used in a certain manner.
• Carrying or throwing any open can, bottle or other receptacle containing any alcoholic beverages.
• Smoking/Drinking in the premises.
• Assembling for the purpose of, or resulting in, disturbing the peace, or committing any unlawful act or engaging in any offensive behavior.
• Failure/Ignorance to obey any rules or regulations of the venue.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behaviour

• Unacceptable behavior of any kind will not be tolerated in any case whether by other students, attendees, media, speakers, volunteers, organizers, venue staff, sponsors, or exhibitors.
• Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to stop it immediately.
• If a participant engages or is influencing others in any unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers can take any action they wish appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the conference without any warning or refund.

If you are subjected to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify a conference organizer as soon as possible. All reports will remain completely confidential.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations, refunds, and substitutions etc are not entertained. All ticket sales are final and our general policy is no refunds under any circumstances.
